1225 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}6/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 18th March, 1937. Messrs. Price's Lubricants Ltd., Belmont Works, Battersea, S.W.11. Dear Sirs, With regard to the Phantom III which is at present running in France, we regret to say that owing to misinterpretation of Mr. Robotham's instructions, this car is not running on Motorine C. As this car has completed the biggest part of its test on another oil, it would not serve any useful purpose to change over to Motorine C. at this stage. It is likely that another test will be commenced in the near future and we will see that it is definitely run on Motorine C. Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
