STANDARDISATION OF CHASSIS PARTS X 191 GA. remarks :- I agree to this type of filler being used, but the Liquall I use has all the faults enumerated by E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A union to connect to tin would be an improvement. I do not object to flexible hose myself but think the filler should not be used for opening cans. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} remarks :- I agree to some form of easy filler in place of funnel, but not this one having a flexible hose. The hose often leaks to begin with and gets worse as time goes on. It also gets damaged or actually torn off in opening petrol tins with the fitting provided. Another point is that the whole of the fitting is rotated in screwing it on to the petrol tin, tearing up the joint washer in time. There is a neat solid snout union nut filler on the market. Could we not try this with perhaps a filter in to collect the water? (Table entries, some upside down) MR ROWLEDGE MR DAY MR BAILEY 26.3.26 MR PLATFORD 27.3.26 MR ELLIOTT 29.3.26 MR HIVES 29.3.26 | ||
