CONTINUATION No. 2
BC/ER

Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,        8th October 1938.

Regarding the needle with a small third dimension for getting away from cold under severe conditions, we will send these along on Monday - marked RRX.

The very small third dimension will probably be reflected in the general consumption figure. Probably a better method would be to richen up on the thermo carburetter by increasing the spring strength, or needle travel to 3/8"; this would leave the main jet setting more normal on the initial pick up, when warm.

Yours faithfully,
For THE S.U.CARBURETTER CO.LTD.

B. Cooper
