THE S.U. CARBURETTER CO. LTD. CONTINUATION No. 2 BC/ER Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., 8th October 1938. Regarding the needle with a small third dimension for getting away from cold under severe conditions, we will send these along on Monday - marked RRX. The very small third dimension will probably be reflected in the general consumption figure. Probably a better method would be to richen up on the thermo carburetter by increasing the spring strength, or needle travel to 3/8"; this would leave the main jet setting more normal on the initial pick up, when warm.
