Y4333 EFC. BY/M8/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 26. 10. 23. RE FAULTY DYNAMO FX CHASSIS 41-G-3.HARROP. No.14. Further to BY3/P. 9. 10. 23. kindly note that we have now obtained possession of the faulty dynamo which has been removed from the above car and we are forwarding same to you herewith. The trouble in question you will recollect is the above customer complains of abnormal brush wear. We shall be glad if you will run this dynamo to make certain that the wear of the brushes is abnormal and if this is the case we think possibly the suggestion contained in our memo referred to above, namely, that of slightly clearing away the mica, might improve matters and at any rate is worth trying. We shall be glad to have your report on this dynamo as soon as possible. BY/M.W. | ||
