The following is a brief summary of the discussion held this morning :- (1) Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} to urge RHC.{R. H. (2) We are urging the final scheme for the Stromberg Carburetter and when ready it should be fitted to a car, together with the Stromberg Carburetter, and subjected to Cold Chamber tests at Lucas's. (3) Ratcliffe should let me have the setting for the maximum power on the Stromberg carburetter (20/25). I have already had the one for maximum economy. (4) Leslie will report on the progress of N.Schemes 4520 and 4603, Autolock Dampers, at the next meeting. (5) Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} will follow up with RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} the manufacture of the flame traps to LeC.4755, as these are definitely overdue. (6) Bowering will report further on the scheme to cut off the petrol pumps when the Stromberg Carburetter is flooding. (7) Matthews will put forward a further programme for the steel skirted pistons when they have been discussed with Mr. Flower. | ||
