Referring to your various notes -

(1) Mechanics Joints.

These are the standard 25 HP. size. We do not think therefore we can attribute the trouble you are having to anything except bad fitting.

(2) Brakes.

We note what you are doing on brakes. We have succeeded in getting excellent results from the same pieces as you have without supporting the servo shaft. We admit that we have used 40° cams and slightly more braking to the front. However we shall be interested to hear your results.

(3) Clutch.

We are still getting incipient clutch slip on our cars here and are therefore very interested to know how the RAD.13 material behaves.

(4) Oil Temperature.

R.{Sir Henry Royce} has suggested that if you direct the draught on to the bottom half through a space between the apron and the bottom of the radiator you may be able to make a material difference in the oil temperature. We suggest that you carry out some tests on these lines.

(5) Sparking Plugs.

Please let us have your report as soon as you can.

(6) Chunking in the Drive.

We should like you to tell us anything you can about this problem. We consider that it is the worst fault we have left on the car for which we at present have no solution. We should like you to jack up your car over the pit and ascertain
