SIDE SPARE WHEEL CARRIERS.

Recent experiments have shown that the tie rod support from the bottom of the frame channel to the centre of the dashboard is successful if the frame channel is fitted with a stiffener which prevents the bottom flange deflecting locally. We are anxious to get this scheme on the 25 HP.

We have an arrangement given us by W.W. for experimental purposes but this requires some modification to avoid fouling the magneto controls and the rear engine feet before we can fit it to existing cars.

We do not think that there is any serious difficulty with the 40/50 scheme.
