Dear Sirs,

Re. Lucas Windscreen Wiper.

We regret to say that the Lucas Windscreen Wiper which we have been testing out on a Bentley Chassis in France as failed after 5,000 miles running, due to the breakage of the connecting rod, as shewn on the sketch attached herewith.

We should be glad to have your remarks on this breakage, and a replacement strengthened link sent to us as soon as possible for immediate despatch to France.
