ORIGINAL. STANDARDISATION OF CHASSIS PARTS. Description of Part: OVERTON MOTOR CENTRE BALL REASON FOR CHANGE: BEARING ON SWIVEL END Origin: To overcome binding of servo due to wear of bearing. Load Test Report: Fitted to BI-XC and run 17 miles. No comment. Dissembled and examined at 200 miles. Finish of journal just as good. in an excellent condition. Experimental Test Report: Fitted to CI-XC to overcome closure of bearing which caused bind. One servo end rod and ball. to improve efficiency. The number of the first chassis on which the new part will be fitted... 'P' Series. Date when chassis will be handed to test.... Cost of scrapped material, if any... Nil.
