For the attention of Mr. Brooks.

Dear Sirs,

Further to our experiments with the raised crown on your Aerolite pistons, the modifications for which is shown on our drawing Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}522.

We have now tried two stages on this crown alteration, one has the portion of the crown raised .170 and the other .300, actually you have pistons in hand for us of both dimensions.

We would now like to go a stage further with this modification. This time the depth of the raised portion is .440.

Will you therefore supply -

14 pistons to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}522, raised crown .440.

We would be obliged if you could supply these pistons as soon as possible, so that we can complete this experiment.
