To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} K1166 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}14/KW.4.12.35. Phantom III Hydraulic Rams. Whilst the Ph.III Bump Chassis is in the Fitting Shop, will you please modify the chassis to take the hydraulic Jacking scheme and fit the set of Sessions Jacks which you have in hand for 32-EX. The pipe lines will only be a mock up job, solely for testing the rams. Will you therefore fit the brass tubing which was handed to T. Fisher, in the best way possible. We have ordered another hand pump, also some olives and unions for the connections. These we will hand to you on receipt. With regard to the Fluid reservoir, this need only be a mock up job, fastened to the dashboard. We are anxious to have this scheme working as soon as possible, so that we can carry out some useful tests before you require the rams for 32-EX. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/J.Bowering. | ||
