INSTRUMENT BOARD : SECTION 7190.

Speedometer and Revolution Counter Drives.

The system of having the rev. counter and speedometer drive cables fitted at the the Coachbuilders' is not successful since all experimental cars are not in their complete stage then.

It is therefore proposed to purchase drives in an incomplete stage at one end, so that the Experimental Department can cut off to the desired length for each particular car and complete the assembly of the drive themselves.

At the present time, we believe you have on order, drives for 10.B.V., 11.B.V., 12.B.V. and 14.B.V. Chassis. These should now be replaced by 8 (not 6 sets as verbally requested), unfinished drives 8 Ft. long, with all the necessary parts to enable us to finish them off.

Will HFS. please arrange for us to be notified of the length of drive fitted to each experimental chassis so that production requirements can be catered for.
