TYRE NOISES.

Reference your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG12227 which is noted.

We have been in touch with Mr. Spyer and think that we shall be able to arrange to borrow this car, at all events for a/day, on some occasion in the near future. Is 8-EX available to send to London at say 24 hours notice, so that the comparison may be made?

I have a definite opinion that this groaning effect is getting worse and would like the opportunity to discuss this, in connection with this particular car, with you or one of your men and also with EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} and as this car is so very bad I do not think it could do any harm, and might do good, if one of Messrs. Dunlops representatives were present also. Do you think you could arrange for this, provided reasonable notice were given? I would sooner you made the arrangements, as all previous discussions on this matter have been dealt with by you.

CWB.
