DUNLOP DETACHABLE WHEELS AND HUBS.

Letters and figures to be employed to identify various types of wheels and hubs.

We have instructed the Dunlop Rubber Co. and their associates the Dunlop Rim & Wheel Co. that the scheme of identification letters and numbers suggested by them is adopted; same is as follows:-

E5 - Detachable wire wheel and single lock equipment (hub) for our 40/50 HP.chassis.

E2 - -do- -do- for our 20 HP.chassis.

G5 - Detachable wire wheel and double lock equipment (hub) for our 40/50 HP.chassis.

G2 - -do- -do- for our 20 HP.chassis.

H5 - Detachable steel artillery type wheel and double lock equipment (hub) for our 40/50 HP.chassis.

H2 - -do- -do- for our 20 HP.chassis.

All the foregoing identification letters signify that the wheels are provided with rims with loose flanges for S/S tyres.

When wellbase rims are called for, the letters WB{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell} will be added after the initial letters in each case, thus:-

EWB-5, EWB-2, GWB-5, GWB-2, HWB-5 and HWB-2.
