X1031 Mr. Hives, Expl. Dept., Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd., Derby. Yardley Villa, Arnot Hill Rd, Daybrook, Nottingham. 16th. Nov., 1932. Dear Mr. Hives, As you probably know, Mr. Robotham has offered me a job in your department, and has given me until Saturday to accept the position. I understand he is away for a week from the works, and am therefore writing to you to say I would like to take the situation, and to know when you would like me to begin work. Mr. Robotham offered that there was none too much time to be lost, and with this in view shall give notice to my present employers just as soon as I have the confirmation from you. Yours faithfully, R H S Buckle | ||
