L4553a (3) To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}7/KW.29.10.34. Brake Layout - 5-B-IV. We think it would be a good idea for this car to have adjustable brake ropes, as with direct braking to all four wheels any loss of motion in the system is more serious. We believe N.Scheme 4213 was detailed for this about a week ago. Will you therefore please fit it to the car if possible. We do not think we have previously mentioned that we shall not require any exterior pull-offsprings on the foot brake linkage other than the pedal return spring.
