Customer's No.: 6-9-1928 Re Tests on SU & SV Batteries (176-7) The Std cells from these two batteries have been made up into two 6 volt units each. as following fig's show. [Diagram of SU battery configuration: SU | Ex | P&R | Ex + ] [Diagram of SV battery configuration: SV -| P&R | Ex | P&R + ] The remaining 6 Oldham cells are being used as a duty battery. Since the above alteration bench tests have been made with the two batteries in series. On Low Rate Discharge through a constant external resistance of 1-80 ohms 64.5 ampere hours were obtained. The P&R cells showed positive weakness in S.V. whilst the cells in S.U discharged equally & also showed positive weakness. Signed (cont'd) This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
