The cyl. construction as J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3. has such great promise - i.e. (1) weight, (2) simplicity, (3) cost, (4) distortion, and (5) convenience - that I very definitely press for this to be hurried forward for trial either as a single cylinder or a complete engine, without waiting for anything. We shall not have spent much money except in drawing, before J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3. is tested, and it would save time.
