Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}13/E19.12.29 contd. -2- should not be led into the feeling that we had overcome our difficulties in design in connection with this very important subject of adequate dynamo capacity, merely by the provision of better facilities for charging when the car us not in use. I asked PN.{Mr Northey} to draw attention (which he did in a form memo) to the two way switch scheme which appears to be standard on a number of inexpensive cars. I believe it is a standard part of the Lucas electrical equipment whereby there is what is called a summer charge and a winter charge. I expect you are familiar with this, and I was wondering whether some scheme on these lines would not be of help and assistance. It seems to me that, if suitably arranged, it might fulfil both the conditions (1) and (2) named on the first page Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
