X7420 COPY. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X7420 X7960. S/W (Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}) from H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} H5/H5.9.30. With reference to the discussion we had at the Conference the other day, as to the latest device (Hancock type) which has been tried for preventing brake squeaks I believe arrangements are being made to fit this to two of our London Trials cars. In addition, Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has asked me to get you to fit this to 88-GN - Inspection Trials car, which is coming to you next week in connection with its springing and then going to St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} for his use. Can you arrange to do this work ? Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s. view is, I think, to try it on as many cars as possible, quickly. H.{Arthur M.
