| - 5 - BENTLEY V. {VIENNA} 9. as possible. He is to use 8-B-V when reassembled and complete some of the second 15,000 miles. 10. Continental B.V. Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} reports that one of these, No.7, is being built. Certain information has been given to Mr.Paulin, and his recommendations are awaited. The chassis can be 170 lbs lighter at a cost of 1/- per lb - £8.10.0. It is intended to try this out with the 8-cylinder engine, and provision should be made for this. BENTLEY 50. 1. Bodies W. report that two bodies are on order to be delivered on the 13th December and 26th January respectively. The mock-up for the prototype is promised for the 13th January. The third body to be ordered is still intended to be a prototype. 2. Front Wing Dies W report that jigs and tools have been ordered to make one front wing and one door. The wing will be the same as is intended for the mock-up, and there is not much possibility of varying either the wing or the door,hence the fact of the dies having been ordered. 3. Car for B.Officials to Try. This should be available for this purpose early in the New Year. The car is expected to be ready for the road about Christmas time, provided Park Ward keep their promise concerning the body. | ||
