VALVE SPRINGS.

Will you please examine and give the results of your observation on the failure of the two springs which we send herewith.

The records of them are as follows -

Bentley Spring.

EB.3256X. is a closely coiled spring made in "Swedish Wire" bought from The Tempered Spring Co. and coiled by R.R.

This ran 1 hour endurance at 4000 R.P.M.

Phantom III. spring.

Standard S/CV. outer spring failed after 100 miles on the road in 33-EX.
