6.B.1V. REAR BRAKES.

We have examined the rear brakes of this car and we find that after 4,000 miles the rear brakes have got rather scored by the R.U. linings and we do not wish to send it to France in this state.

Will you please re-fit the original shoes lined with B.Z. and lightly skim the brake drums to remove the grooves.

This will give us information as to how a thin iron liner behaves.
