Referring to E.1/HP.28.12.33 I note that, when you tried this car, you found that with the control in the maximum position the riding on the back seat was exceedingly objectionable at low speeds, and it is questionable whether it is wise for this condition to be possible.

I can quite believe that riding is very uncomfortable at the back under these conditions and I note that you are proposing to increase the governor control, but it seems to me that even modified it will still be possible for the same condition to exist.

Perhaps we could have a word about this to-morrow.

As the alteration will presumably put considerable more work on the governor, I presume it means a 10,000 miles test on the next P.II and, if such is the case, I am wondering what it means from the point of view of production in the near future as you will remember they were coming in on the last of the Py. chassis.
