Fitted on Expl.Car. Les. {Ivan A. Leslie} reports that they do not knock. Retained by Les.for rig tests.

Dismantled in Repair Dept. Bushes have .00025 to .0025 clearance on spindle drawing clearances are .0005 to .00125. Repair state bushes do not justify replacement. Bushes having this clearance are not usually changed when reconditioning dampers. To be credited to Repair Dept.Stock.

Dismantled by Repair & passed to Inspection. Bushes have .00035 to .00125 clearances on spindles. Drawing clearances are .0005 to .00125. Bearings are therefore within drawing limits. Cleaned, reassembled & credited to Repair Dept. Stock.

Dismantled by Repair & passed to Inspection. Bushes have .001 to .00185 clearance on spindles. Drawing clearances are .0005 to .00125. This is outside drawing limits but dampers have been passed by Repair.
