Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} x6694 To W.F. from R/Ltd. o.{Mr Oldham} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1380. R/Bld.3/HP.16.10.34. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Increased Ground Clearance. LeC.4139 herewith shows a scheme for restricting the rear axle rebound. It is only by limiting the axle rebound that it is possible to decrease the depth of the sheet metal crossmember and increase the ground clearance at this point. Schemes will follow shortly for a raised battery box and modified crossmember. If possible these features should be incorporated in the 2nd SpectreCodename for Phantom III chassis. R/Ltd. | ||
