Re. LUCAS HEADLAMPS.

Some customers have given preference to Marchal lamps for Continental use, this necessitates alterations with regard to fixing. The new Lucas lamp, which has the pleasing frontal appearance of the 'Marchal' has been designed to serve the dual purpose of giving either the Continental or English system of lighting, only a simple alteration of the wiring and a replacement of bulb and holder is necessary to complete the changeover. It is to be noted that the 'Marchal' lamp uses the Bosch type holder, thus customers would be subject to the same conditions with regard to replacements, using either type of lamp. The Bosch type bayonet cap provides for an improved mounting for the bulb which ensures adequate contact and a definite location. Messrs Lucas will be able to supply this type of bulb from any of their Depots.
