(2) In our EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/13.10.27. of October last, when we sent you the Sports Car steering support we asked that it should be tested quickly on E.A.C.7. as we doubted whether the two tubes would be satisfactory alone. If the cast dash is weak and the column unsteady, the cure does not seem to lie in removing the body flexible mounting and fastening the dash to the scuttle, but in correctly making a triangle of the dash, column and frame as we appear to have done successfully on E.A.C.7. (14.EX). As we are about to go into designs for the subframe mounting of bodies on E.A.C. 10. we would be glad to receive all the information which you have, and,if it is possible,to test 15 EX. on the road ourselves, to form an idea of the coachwork troubles.
