W/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} main bearings and Bentley with Hall's metal there is nothing between them. This to be queried as standardisation sheet 1020 of R.R. 56 big end and main shims shews a 75% reduction in cost compared with steel shims with Hall's metal facings. No cost figures are available as yet comparing "Strap rods" in conjunction with Hall's metal bushes which we are using on Continental compared with std.
