To DY.{F R Danby} from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} 6119 E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}4/HP.4.2.33. re Peregrine. Please receive herewith: LeC.3358 - Peregrine Ignition Governor Mechanism. The modifications shown are: (1) To provide a better oil collecter and supply to the cam spindle. (2) Substituting a parallel cross pin in place of the taper pin of the advance and retard sleeve which will improve the wearing surfaces. At the same time we have arranged for the governor to advance 11° on the distributor, which is the amount determined by the Experimental Department. Two different springs have been tried on the governor weights - 3 coils 16 SWG and 3 coils 15 SWG. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} | ||
