PHANTOM III - STEERING GEAR
---------------------------

Further to EY7/G.19.4.39, in which I held up the new design of roller follower using .297" dia. balls instead of the original .187" rollers, I am now satisfied that orders can be released again for the new parts as tests have shown that the life of the races is considerably greater than the original design. More tests are to be carried out, but in the meantime the position is sufficiently hopeful to justify releasing the material.
