contd :- -2- it is cheaper to use the somewhat larger and slower speed engine without damping devices or attempt to get the same power by driving a smaller engine at a somewhat higher speed, requiring some sort of damping to make the opera-tion satisfactory! I did not know that there was any such thing as a really good London Fog. I might be willing to inspect one as a curiosity but can well get along without the opportunity! Sincerely yours, Sgd.
