No. 30 Car Test House.

With reference to the above test house, and with further reference to our previous memo., Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/KW.13.12.35.

We understand that the following items mentioned in the previous memo. have been carried as far as they can be without disturbing K-10 test house :-

(1) Exhaust Silencers.
(2) Petrol System.
(3) Water Mains.

The remaining items, however, are outstanding, although some are partly finished :-

(a) Heating. To complete this item, we suggest that the radiator is used which is at present in K-10; plus another one which should be as long as possible; these to be fitted in positions as suggested by Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}

(b) Ventilation. Alteration to the roof, as suggested in previous memo. This item is at present outstanding.

(c) Lighting. 4 large lamps, the same as in C.Parkinson's bed, plus the wall plugs mentioned in previous memo. 2 lights (overhead) in the shelter, one over desk, one over drawing board.

(d) Instrument Boards. This item is outstanding. The instruments are all in stock (see Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}) as arranged. We understand that drawings were issued showing the required mounting.
