Dear Sirs,

We enclose for your inspection and test two dozen of our new Spring Terminal Clips for use instead of Terminal Nuts.

The object of these Clips is to overcome the trouble of Terminal Nuts getting loose and to prevent risk of damage to the insulation of plugs through Terminal Nuts being done up with pliers. They also have the advantage that they are easy to place in position and do not get hot enough to be uncomfortable to handle after running.

It is intended to use the Standard High Tension Wire Terminal which is put on the plug in the ordinary way, and the Spring Clip is then fitted on instead of the Milled Terminal Nut with the two legs of Clip pointing to the cylinder so that if the clip had a tendency to unscrew up the thread these legs would come in contact with the Wire Terminal.

These Clips have been accepted by the Air Board and we now submit samples to you for your approval.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. ROBINHOOD ENGINEERING WORKS LTD.
