Dear Sir,

We are sending you one preliminary Sample Silencer per passenger train and would be glad if you could test as to the degree of silence and report on same.

If you should not find this unit thoroughly satisfactory we would ask you to give us an introduction to your London Works, in order that we may become better acquainted with this problem and eliminate any noise if any.

Thanking you for your kind interest.

We are

Yours faithfully.
