I am very glad you have raised this matter because there is little doubt that our present instrument board layout on the 25/30 is rather out of date. I refer in particular to the small speedometer as compared with the large speedometer which is on the P.III and generally becoming universal. I note that the decision I gave the other day will enable the change to be made at the beginning of 'N' Series but I am afraid this will not ensure the scheme being on the chassis for the Olympia Show this year as they will have to be drawn apparently from 'M' Series. The chassis for the Show, as you know, always have to be away from the Works by the end of July or early August. However, I do not think this question of the Show is vitally important and I assume that all the fittings are on order for 'N' Series. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
