To ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} re Fabroil Gears. Replying to your memo Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/Dn.3/ME.18.9.33, we have had a measure of success with gears of this type but whether actually cut from the Fabroil blanks I do not know. We are, however, not keen to depart from metal gears so we are continuing on with our experiments on a general basis, and believe we may find a solution without having to adopt Fabroil.
