X550 S/W Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}..from C. C4/C27.3.35 Re STIFF STEERING -------- I have tried GAE-20, to which I believe you recently did something (I do not know what) to the steering at Derby. The general impression I have is that it is up to but is not better than standard, although it is better in respect of stiffness than some cars I have driven - in fact I would call it passable without being considered light. Re GAE-19, I have not had an opportunity of trying this properly, as they are still fitting up the isolation scheme, but it will be available for you any time next week, and I hope to try it again over the weekend.
