VAN CLEVE, DAYTON Book-Cadillac Hotel DETROIT Ralph Hitz President 3 (1) The 'front' had bronze as RR made it whereas camp [cam] clearances to accomodate [accommodate] crankshaft are considerable greater with our substantially small clearances if (a) Lubrication is more abundant initially (b) the 'take up' for growth is not a defect - for only where they could seize would be large Bushings. (2) Cylinders had - '53' + '45' methods. If so we have used original dimensions which makes this new power a rather astonishing increase. Pistons had 'flat' tops. HPL / pistons to the required thickness of the stud (which must not stand above it) and the bearing surfaces. The result of this is that with a rough in the required radius and finished as correct. They are sending us drawings of the lots for the last patterns and are making one complete set of drawings. Bentley Dept, Derby on the same position.
