Dear Mr. Gardner, I duly received your pamphlet describing your new draughtless ventilation and I understand from Mr. Purr that you already have some of the fitments in course of production. Whilst in Derby last week end I shewed the particulars of your patent to Mr. W. A. {Mr Adams} Robotham of Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited and he expressed a wish to have a short ride in a car fitted with this equipment. I would suggest therefore that it would be well worth your while sending a car to Derby for him to try, as judging from the satisfactory operation which you have obtained on smaller cars Mr. Robotham might desire to have these draughtless ventilators fitted to one of their cars.
