ONE AND HALF VALUE BALLAST RESISTANCE

We are very anxious to have the ballast resistance to L.O.P. D.70843, instructed by EY/RD5/ML7.11.28.

We propose standardising this ballast resistance of 1½ value, in place of the present standard double ballast, owing to a very slight weakness in certain circumstances reported by EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} on the 20 H.P. battery ignition, which is cured by lowering the resistance of the ballast.

Would you please arrange to let us have this at the earliest possible moment because we must make a test of this with a present standard coil continuously on voltage overnight.
