Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter dated 22nd. ref: S/97/Sh. in answer to our EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 3/LG.

Developements have now occurred which render the previously desired departure from the originally advance curve of your AM6-A Magneto unnecessary - so that what we now require is merely the reversed rotation, for instance, anti-clockwise, instead of clockwise as in the original sample magnetos received from you.

We would have preferred the automatic advance to start a little earlier than 450/500 which you state (it will be remembered we asked for a neighbourhood of 300) but we are now content for the maximum advance 35° to be reached at a speed of 3,300 as previously.

Trusting this change of requirements will not have inconvenienced you in any way.

Yours faithfully,
