WHEN REPLYING PLEASE REFER TO X/BGC/17. Your Ref: Em/RC.{R. Childs}9/ET. Messrs Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. For the attention of Mr. Child. 15th January 1941. Dear Sirs, With further reference to your communication of the 1st of this month, and our subsequent telephonic conversation, we have gone fully into the question of supplying a modified Timing Lever and Bracket with the locating hole in the position shown in your drawing. Unfortunately we have not a suitable bracket available, and we are enclosing copies of our Drawings 406601, 408374, 408365 showing the nearest ones we have. We are afraid that none of these are entirely suitable, but if it would be of assistance to you we could arrange to drill a further hole in 406601 as near as possible to the position shown in your drawing, and if desired mill down the raising. We think we can supply your other requirements without difficulty, and if you will let us have your further comments in regard to the above, we will go further into the question of supplying you with a Distributor incorporating these modifications. Yours faithfully, JOSEPH LUCAS LTD. [Signature] Technical Sales Department. | ||
