Starter Motor Armature.
"D" Scheme 544.

We have instructed to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} a new Starter Motor Armature having mechanical changes internally in the Armature Shaft.

As soon as this is ready will you please arrange for same to be tested as we wish to put this job on Production as quickly as possible, owing to the difficulties in manufacturing the present design, and as we have no broaches available it is not desired that a further set of broaches for the old design should be put in hand.
