30d H.F. coil Dynamo with Higher Control-brush-spring Press.

Rough tests having suggested that a higher pressure of control brush spring would tend to keep up the output of the machine at high speeds, the machine N on which the tests have been made, was arranged with full-pressure instead of the standard, and the curve at 80°C with 7 1/2" Bar taken.

The result however is identical with the curve for normal brush pressure throughout, and although the commutation and absence of sparking, are not appreciably improved.

This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work.
