RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DS 451-B-12 24) MP 206975 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: FFC Order No.: AD 46. Customer's No.: X6003 30d H.F. coil Dynamo with Higher Control-brush-spring Press. Rough tests having suggested that a higher pressure of control brush spring would tend to keep up the output of the machine at high speeds, the machine N on which the tests have been made, was arranged with full-pressure instead of the standard, and the curve at 80°C with 7 1/2" Bar taken. The result however is identical with the curve for normal brush pressure throughout, and although the commutation and absence of sparking, are not appreciably improved.
