Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From. G.W.H. BENTLEY - 6.B.IV. This car has been held up. The following work has been carried out :- Steering box loose on frame. Cross steering tube down in poundage found one steel pad missing in bronze pad assembly. Rear silencer pipe loose. Pedal supports loose. Fitted new high tension wires. Fitted lighter fan Checked up axle, Gearbox oil levels. Disconnected front roll rod. Disconnected mixture control twisting of frame opens it choose which way it is connected. Torque reaction dampers taken off poundage too low 2 lbs. made 6 pounds. Rear seat sitting on accumulators strengthened. No cover on Battery in a dirty condition see report of last Bentley.
