In reply to BY11/G21.3.28., we shall in the course of the next 2 or 3 days send you drgs. of the following :

(1) Steering column and mounting.
(2) Side steering tube.
(3) Petrol tank with filler, vent, level gauge etc.
(4) Rear end of frame, with dumb iron, and 1st. and 2nd. cross members.
(5) Spare wheel carrier at rear.
(6) Luggage grid.
(7) Tail lamp, number plate etc.

This will account for a number of items in the list you give. Some of the remainder can be dealt with by instructions, thus :-

(8) Frame ties same as EAC.7. except for depth, which is to be 5.5" instead of 6.5" - see N.sch.2428. Since no design is called for no doubt this can be set out in Derby.

(9) Dashboard and brackets same as EAC.7. subject to any improvements as a result of the present cast dash experiments.

(10) Footboards same as EAC.77

The remaining items on your list are as follows :

(11) Instrument board in all probability will be a framed patch of instruments. We think however in any case that it cannot be regarded as one of the most urgent A Jobs.

(12) Dipping headlamps probably the same as those instructed for the sports car except for any modifications required in the control on account of the new engine arrangement. Until this latter is settled we do not think we can usefully do work on the dipping lamps. In addition to this we are expecting some suggestions from R.{Sir Henry Royce}

(13) Exhaust cutout - as far as the silencer is concerned probably like EAC.7. The controls will be dealt with as soon as possible, but they do not appear to be a big job.

In addition to the above there are the following which have yet to be dealt with :-
