re Smith Electric Clocks.

We have had three cases of electric clock failure on experimental cars. These are :-

(1) An experimental clock of the impulse type fitted on car 28.G.VI, stopped and could not be started again.

(2) A standard clock No.E.125 fitted to car 28.G.VI in place of the impulse type clock removed also stopped. Examination showed that the fuse inside was burnt out.

(3) A standard clock No.E.124 on car 32.EX repeatedly failed to wind up. This would sometimes fail even when held in the hand and shaken.

Will you please have these returned to the makers for overhaul and repair.
