I confirm mine Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}6/NJ11.6.26.

This morning we are in receipt of a letter from the Dunlop Rubber Co., Fort Dunlop, dated 9th inst. as follows:-

"With reference to your letter of May 20th last "Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}10/NJ20526, and our letter JSM.T. of the 10th June, "we cannot trace that the tyres returned to you by "Mr Hancock from the 10,000 miles test in France are "yet in our possession.

"If the tyres in question have been forwarded to "us, would you kindly advise us as to date returned "and method of conveyance, so that we may trace their "present whereabouts.

"These tyres are required for special examination "by our Development Department to ascertain the cause "of the trouble referred to."

Will you please let me know what has been done with regard to these Tyres.

Mr Hancock
Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}

We have written Paris
we ask that these Tyres, any others which
we think Dunlop would be interested
in will be sent to Mr Hancock.
