20.G.IV.

Referring to PN{Mr Northey}5/WT24.5.32.

The packing was put under the buffers to prevent the side steering tube hitting the shock absorber. This fault was corrected on production by raising the shock absorber and altering the shape of the filter, and we are asking By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} to send you particulars of how this can be done and suggest that it should be tried first on 20.G.IV. before we consider changing the front springs.
